Motherhood - What do you really want to say?

Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs...
since the payment is pure love.”
Mildred B. Vermont
I don't know how many of you have been been able to watch the movie "Motherhood" with Uma Thurman. I think it's a movie every woman can relate since there are so many scenes that almost appear to be autobiographical (at least to me). The movie is supposed to be a comedy or a "parody" but I was on the verge of tears watching it. You see is just that "Motherhood" is about an educated mom who decides to be a stay-at-home mom. She blogs on the side in order to keep her "identity" alive and not loose her sanity while she crumbles under the pressure of child-rearing. The main focus of this film is to teach the viewer how difficult is for stay-at-home-moms to juggle personal ambition and familial needs. However, what attracted me the most about this film is Thurman's character struggle to write a 500-word essay for a blog contest explaining what motherhood meant to her. This got me thinking too.. What does motherhood mean to me? What does it mean to you? What do we really want the world to know about motherhood? Is there anyone out there brave enough to share this?

The moment a child is born, the mother is also born.  She never existed before.  The woman existed, but the mother, never.  A mother is something absolutely new.  ~Rajneesh

Peanut Butter Happiness

One thing I cannot resist is peanut butter. Those who knows me know how much I heart peanut butter. Peanut butter is my best friend and my ultimate weakness. What's not to love. There's something nostalgic about peanut butter. Is the perfect comfort food and for some reason it always brings back happy memories from my childhood. Seriously, there is nothing better like eating a peanut butter, honey and banana sandwich with a glass of cold milk on a hot summer day.  This is the perfect combination of sweetness, gooeyness, and creamy blend. It's perfection for the palate. Did you know that bluebirds love peanut butter and generally do not eat seeds. See peanut butter makes everyone happy including bluebirds. So lets celebrate happiness by eating peanut butter and tell us what’s your favorite way to eat it. Need some recipes to get inspired? Why not try one of the recipes below. Trust me they will blow your mind away.

Could You Have a Bluebird Personality?

What are Bluebird People?

Bluebird People are learning to embrace the beauty, love, and happiness that live within themselves.

In mythology a bluebird is a guardian of all passages and transitions that we make or are about to make. Bluebirds are considered a sign of spring and a symbol of love, happiness, prosperity, and good health.

Bluebirds have life long partners and are therefore one of the few animals that have relationships. The legend says that when a bluebird shows up, we are about to see a change in the climate. Darkness will soon fade and more sunshine will arrive. Bluebirds hold the energy of gentleness. They are not aggressive and will avoid confrontation whenever possible. They are patient and observant birds and choose to spend their time enjoying life, however, if a bluebird is provoked it will stand its ground and defend itself.
