How to Build a Resume That Stands Out Visually To Help Your Teen Land Their First Job

Creating a captivating resume that sparkles bright enough to catch an employer's attention is an art on its own terms.

With the ramp up pressure kids experience at school and the need to sign up to too many extracurricular activities, it’s no surprise how the number of teens employed have been declining over the past decades.
There are many benefits (and risks) of adolescent employment. The decision to allow your teen to have an after school job should be a well thought-out family decision based on how well they can manage responsibilities, time management and money.

But if your teen is ready to take the plunge the first thing they need to figure out is how to build a resume that stands out even if they don’t have any work experience.

Georgia SPCA Animals Looking For a Happy Home and Upcoming Shelter Events

Rascal

Rascal is a very friendly, 4-month-old puppy who would love to find a forever home where he could run and play with an active family. He is just the right age to learn to be a fabulous family companion.  Come see him at the shelter.

Betty Boop
Betty is a beautiful one-year-old calico who loves nothing more than some attention. She is a sweet girl and would love to meet you. Come by the shelter and say hello. She might be just the kitty for your family.

Wizzer
Wizzer was originally with us as a small puppy earlier this year. He came back to the shelter recently when his family was no longer able to care for him. Wizzer has grown into a beautiful dog and is very playful and friendly. He would love to have a home where he could run and play with an active family.

Bobbi

Bobbi is new to the shelter and is very scared and reluctant to come out of her hutch hideaway. She needs someone who has lots of patience to help her learn to trust her surroundings again. If you would like to help Bobbi, call the shelter.
