Emma Watson Delivers Game-Changing Speech on Feminism #HeForShe

In an effort to solidify unity for HeForShe, a movement for gender equality, 24-year-old actress and UN Women Goodwill Ambassador Emma Watson gave a powerful speech about the misconceptions surrounding feminism. The UN Women campaign called "HeForShe" recognizes gender equality not only as a women's issue, but a human rights issue that affects all of us, and liberates both women and men from prescribed social roles and gender stereotypes. This campaign has the goal of mobilizing one billion men to speak-up and take action in ending the persisting inequalities faced by women and girls around the world. In the speech that earned her a standing ovation, Watson stressed the importance of equality, gender roles, feminism and men’s involvement in promoting women’s rights. Mirror Mirror on the Wall I Am Enough After All! #iamEnough

We are The Mrs., is an all-female band from Austin, Texas. They recently asked women how they felt when they looked in the mirror. Surprisingly most woman immediate reaction was negative and most of them had a hard time embracing their beauty and unique qualities. The mirror didn't like the answers that women were giving and responded back, teaching them why are they not only beautiful but pretty darn awesome! "ENOUGH" looking in the mirror with such a critical eye.  "ENOUGH" of that negative voice we hear in our heads. "ENOUGH" letting the world tell us who we should be. The Mrs.' debut single, "Enough", was written to help women see themselves with a less critical eye, and realize that they are "Enough" just the way they are. Instead of creating a traditional music video, they opted to do something unconventional: take our message directly to the women who inspire us.  Here's part of the lyric that we
