Explore Georgia: Tybee Island Tips No One Tells You About

Ever wonder how can you maximize your visit to Tybee Island? We have gathered the best insider tips so you can plan a dream trip to one of the most unique places you'll ever visit.

BEST PLACE TO LAY DOWN YOUR TOWEL
Park near the Tybee Beach Beach and Pavilion (Tybrisa St, Tybee Island, GA 31328) use the bridge in front of the Tybee Island Marine Center turn right and walk towards the rock formation close to the sand dunes. This portion of the beach has a smoother sand, lots of shallow areas that are perfect for little kids to bathe safely, is less crowded, and because it's close to the sand dunes you will see a large variety of seaside birds.

A Christmas Story, The Musical playing at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre for one week only: November 29 – December 4

Tickets on sale September 18
This holiday season, for the first time in Atlanta, one of America’s favorite Christmas movies comes to life on stage in a hilarious, large scale Broadway musical, at the Fox Theatre from November 29 – December 4 as part of the 2016/2017 Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta season.
A Christmas Story, The Musical chronicles young and bespectacled Ralphie Parker as he schemes his way toward the holiday gift of his dreams, an official Red Ryder® Carbine-Action 200-Shot Range Model Air Rifle (“You’ll shoot your eye out kid!”).
An infamous leg lamp, outrageous pink bunny pajamas, a maniacal department store Santa, and a triple-dog-dare to lick a freezing flagpole are just a few of the distractions that stand between Ralphie and his Christmas wish. Chock-full of delightful songs and splashy production numbers, A Christmas Story, The Musical, has proudly taken its place as a perennial holiday classic for the whole family.
Tickets go on sale Sunday, September 18.

As an avid animal lover, and Georgia SPCA volunteer I'm thrilled to be able to partner with Kroger and Purina Dog Chow Natural, for today’sEasy No-sew Recycled Dog T-shirt DIY. Dogs and cats are blurring the lines between “pets” and people. People like me, consider dogs and cats as individuals. My “pets” play a unique role in my family. They are part of our emotional life and their role is much deeper than just companionship. They are family and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Having four "pets" at home can add up quickly, especially if you are also bringing dogs and cats from the shelter to foster. In order to save some money I have learned a few tricks and today's DIY is one of my favorites.
