  If you love Halloween, ghost stories, performing arts, and history pay attention. Capturing the Spirit of Oakland Halloween Tour is back and is better than ever. Historic Oakland Cemetery receives many visitors each day, but only at Halloween do the gates stay open after dark. Witness the final resting place of Atlanta's sons and daughters during the "Capturing the Spirit of Oakland: Halloween Tours." Hear first-hand accounts about the city's past, narrated by a host of Oakland's eternal "residents," and see candlelit mausoleums in this one-of-a-kind annual tradition.  Guests are encouraged to bring a flashlight and wear comfortable walking shoes. Tours meet at the Bell Tower and last approximately one hour. Fernbank BOO-seum Trick-or-Treat   Saturday, October 29 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Get ready to have a screaming (in delight) good time! For one day only, Fernbank Museum is becoming Fernbank BOO-seum. Little Beat Music, Inc. will provide family-friendly tunes and face painting will inspire those who didn’t quite finish their costumes.
