“Pie for Patients” social media effort challenges people to pie themselves and others for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey ® and Chick-fil-A are teaming up with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta to challenge  Children Of All Ages  to participate in  Pie for Patients.  People can make a pie using shaving or whipped cream, take a video, and then post the video on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or YouTube using #GetPiedforCHOA and #ringlingbros. After getting involved in the fun of getting pied and raising awareness for Children’s, participants are asked to donate to make a difference in their local community.  

Chick-fil-A® is issuing a cattle call! Mark your calendar for the 11 th annual Cow Appreciation Day on Tuesday, July 14, 2015. On that day, Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide will offer a free meal to any customer who visits a restaurant dressed as a cow. Customers dressed "head to hoof" in cow attire will be rewarded with a free Chick-fil-A meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner), which includes an entree of choice, a side item and a beverage. For those too "chikin" to wear full cow costumes, Chick-fil-A will award a complimentary entree to customers partially dressed in cow attire, such as a cow-spotted purse, hat or other accessory.

This year I had the wonderful pleasure to become a Chick-fil-A mom and one of the perks is that I get to try new menu items and get the inside scoop of all the new and exciting things happening at the restaurant. The refreshing treat combines two of the fast food restaurant’s most beloved offerings, fresh-squeezed lemonade and its signature Icedream®. Children can participate in cow-themed contests, activities and giveaways * We just got confirmation from Legoland that this event has been cancelled.  Families are invited to join LEGOLAND Discovery Center and Chick-fil-A to prepare for Cow Appreciation Day! On Tuesday, July 9 , from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. , children can learn how to build their own mini LEGO cows, play fun games and get goodies from Chick-fil-A on the second level of Phipps Plaza above Monarch Court. Families will also have plenty of photo opportunities with the Chick-fil-A cows, LEGOLAND Discovery Center’s mascot Bertie and a large LEGO cow built by the attraction’s Master Model Builder! At 1:30 p.m. , contests will be held for best cow costume and best “Moo” for a chance to win tickets to LEGOLAND Discovery Center.
