Complete with new cabinets, appliances, dining table, and accessories, this kitchen is equipped to take on the needs of at-risk youth. “The youth at CHRIS Kids deserve a really nice kitchen which is the heart of the home,” said Deidra Cunningham, Marketing and Public Relations, IKEA Atlanta. “The kitchen is where most of the sharing and bonding takes place over a meal as this is a small way we can impact their lives through our product.” For many of the youth, cooking is therapeutic and having new, safe IKEA materials in the kitchen impacts their lives.
