Easy No-sew Recycled Dog T-shirt DIY For Your MVP (Most Valuable Pooch) #MyPetMyStar

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #MyPetMyStar #CollectiveBias As an avid animal lover, and Georgia SPCA volunteer I'm thrilled to be able to partner with Kroger and Purina Dog Chow Natural , for today’s Easy No-sew Recycled Dog T-shirt DIY . Dogs and cats are blurring the lines between “pets” and people. People like me, consider dogs and cats as individuals. My “pets” play a unique role in my family. They are part of our emotional life and their role is much deeper than just companionship. They are family and will always hold a special place in our hearts.  Having four "pets" at home can add up quickly, especially if you are also bringing dogs and cats from the shelter to foster. In order to save some money I have learned a few tricks and today's DIY is one of my favorites.

Work In Progress: Refinishing Our Kitchen Table and Light Fixture Re-do

Hi everybody, I wanted to share just a quick update on my latest DIY project. I'm working on re-doing my kitchen nook and I found this amazing country table set on my neighborhood Goodwill. It was brown and really damaged. I still need to do the chair cushions and get some accessories for the wall. If you know me, you know I will probably get them at a local yard sale, or Goodwill. I never pay full price for things like these. The Chandelier, I bought it two years ago, also at Goodwill and I finally decided to put in use. Is painted in warm yellow and distressed for a more rustic look. It looks so pretty, and it makes the space so happy and cheerful.  I spent no more than 50 dollars in the table, chairs and chandelier. Sometimes being patient is worth the wait :)

Easy Halloween DIY Monster Door

I have noticed a big trend on many neighborhoods. Holidays are getting getting frumpier and frumpier  every year. People are not as invested as earlier decades in decorating the outside of their homes. This lack of interest made me wonder. Are we really that busy that we can't take 10 minutes of our life to spread a little happiness? I don't know about you but when I was I kid, I absolutely loved taking a drive around neighborhoods to look at holidays displays. You don' see that anymore. In a subdivision on more than 300 families only two houses decorated their front  yards for Halloween this year. I think is time to bring this kind of joy and happiness back to our children. They deserve to live in whimsical neighborhood full of magic, love and happy people. Show your love for your community and  have your house ready for the holidays. Our monster door was made with leftover fabric and Scotch's halloween duct tape.  ...
