This portion of the beach has a smoother sand, lots of shallow areas that are perfect for little kids to bathe safely, is less crowded, and because it's close to the sand dunes you will see a large variety of seaside birds.

Located at the Lenox Square Mall, this beloved Atlanta tradition for over 50 years is the perfect way to celebrate the holiday season. And, while you’re there, be sure to take lots of pics with the fam and upload them #macyspinkpig. Tickets for the ride are available at the Macy's Pink Pig kiosk located on the  upper level parking deck at Lenox Square East  Mall entrance. Priscilla the Pink Pig will once again carry children of all ages through a life-sized storybook filled with friends and fun beneath the signature 170-foot, 1950’s-themed pink pig tent.
