Atlanta Culinary Tours Presents Woodstock Wednesdays

"There's nothing like a food tour to discover a city's culture and history. Food tours not only help you discover new places and flavors in your own city but gives an unique inside look of the real story behind the dish"

Liza Cardona

Atlanta Culinary Tours has created a new food tour called "Woodstock Wednesdays". For those of you who have never been to Woodstock this is the city that may have invented the term Southern Charm. It’s a hometown feel, yet so close to the South’s busiest city. Once you arrive to Woodstock they will take you to Olde Towne, a place where the past and present meet. It’s home to Woodstock’s oldest buildings, unique shops, quaint homes, and some fantastic restaurants. They'll share the area’s rich history, as they nosh your way through this endearing community.

The new Woodstock tour runs every fourth Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm. Here are some of the possible stops along the way.
  • Freight Kitchen & Tap – An American Tavern located in the historic train depot.
  • PURE Taqueria – The fresh, authentic taste of Mexico and killer cocktails.
  • Fire Stone Wood Fired Pizza & Grill – Imported, wood fired ovens from Tuscany, and fresh local ingredients.
  • Cupcakelicious – Creating moments of happiness & fun for everyone.
  • Wink the Signature Winktini, delectable desserts or the delicious nosh? We say try it all... and more to come!
This is a community you will be glad you discovered. This tour is the fourth Wednesday of the month, starting at 6:30p. It is led by brothers Adam and Kevin Peppers.

Atlanta Culinary Tours currently has 8 monthy tasting tours around the metro. Their tour concept is simple: Small groups of guests are led by knowledgeable guides through the areas best neighborhoods. They give you an insider’s look at the metro’s vibrant culinary scene by visiting restaurants, markets and food related businesses. They sample their eats and chat with the owners and chefs. Between bites, they'll tell you about the neighborhood’s history, current events and point out things that even locals may not know!

You’ll walk away with a solid knowledge of Metro Atlanta’s neighborhoods, learn which eateries you’d like to return to, meet new people and sample enough good food and drink to more than fill your belly–all for about the price of a single meal.
