How to Build a Resume That Stands Out Visually To Help Your Teen Land Their First Job

Creating a captivating resume that sparkles bright enough to catch an employer's attention is an art on its own terms.

With the ramp up pressure kids experience at school and the need to sign up to too many extracurricular activities, it’s no surprise how the number of teens employed have been declining over the past decades.
There are many benefits (and risks) of adolescent employment. The decision to allow your teen to have an after school job should be a well thought-out family decision based on how well they can manage responsibilities, time management and money.

But if your teen is ready to take the plunge the first thing they need to figure out is how to build a resume that stands out even if they don’t have any work experience.

But where to start? How do can you create a snapshot of your ambitions, show your strengths and interests and captive an employers attention?

Restaurant Reviews: Sunny Side up Breakfasts at Lobby at Twelve

Start the day off right with a hearty breakfast from the best restaurant in town. Every day from 6:30am to 11:00am Lobby at Twelve serves sunny side up breakfasts that will satisfy any appetite. LOBBY at TWELVE, recognized among the best Atlanta restaurants by Atlanta Magazine and Access Atlanta serves a tantalizing menu of American brasserie fare with a contemporary twist.

Personal menu favorites among my family are the Maryland Benedict: lump crab cakes, poached eggs, honey ham & bloody mary hollandaise on English muffins. Also, the lobster salad with avocado, crisp romaine, bacon, and quail eggs and the classic steak and eggs with roasted potatoes.

During special holidays, Lobby at Twelve serves a family friendly brunch. For Easter they featured  Easter brunch specials, available to enjoy a la carte. Additionally they offered Easter brunch activities such as egg hunting, face painting, a rabbit petting zoo and posing for a picture with the Easter bunny and Alice!

Lobby at Twelve has a private dining area, Cellar, that  can accommodate a wide range of groups, from 40 guests for a seated served dinner to 75 guests for a reception to 20 guests in a boardroom setting.

The elegant space brings a fresh perspective to creating innovative events in a refined, intimate setting. Dark mahogany woods, recessed lighting and a dramatic wall wine rack holding hundreds of bottles make The Cellar inviting, sleek and contemporary. For more information please visit: http://www.lobbyattwelve.com or call 404-974-2937.

*Disclosure: I was given complementary passes to sample the Easter brunch menu. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.
