   Food Network competition series The Great Food Truck Race returns for a second season this summer with more – more teams, more cities, more grueling challenges and more prize money. Hosted by Tyler Florence, the series features eight of the top food trucks in the country battling for a life-changing $100,000 grand prize, double the cash prize awarded in season one. From delicious Cuban sandwiches to tasty vegan dishes and gourmet grilled cheese, the eight competing teams represent the best in food truck cuisine. The trucks spend one wild weekend in each city not only selling specialties from their mobile kitchens, but also competing in extreme challenges like butchering their own meat for barbecue in Memphis and foraging the mountains of Denver for wild mushrooms. On the heels of their 16-day tour of Great Britain the internationally acclaimed Georgia Boy Choir is holding auditions for membership in their Apprentice, Training, and Intermediate Choirs for the 2011-2012 season. The program consists of weekly rehearsals held at the Choir’s new location, The Heiskell School located at 3260 Northside Dr. in Atlanta. At the Georgia Boy Choir, boys ages 5 years old through high school learn to sing in an environment where they are safe from personal or social criticism, and adulation is shared among the group; teaching the boys mutual respect, confidence, dedication, hard work, self-discipline, sacrifice, and an appreciation of Beauty. The boys are also taught to understand their inborn greatness as evidenced by their unique ability to apply the teaching of vocal production at such an early age, and develop it to the highest degree possible. If have been hearing great things about the Tellus Museum and this past weekend we finally gave it a visit. The Tellus Museum is a 120,000 square foot museum featuring four main galleries: The Weinman Mineral Gallery, The Fossil Gallery, Science in Motion, and The Collins Family My Big Backyard. There' also a Solar Decathlon House that was designed and built by engineering and architectural faculty and students at Georgia Tech for an international competition.   The solar house has 39 solar panels, insulated polyurethane base, and a water capture and reclamation system. The house is designed to be self-sufficient and show how solar energy can be used to make homes energy efficient and "green."   Along with the solar panels, separate air conditioning and heating units allow residents to heat or cool only certain sections of the home.                   Listed on the National Register of Historic Places The Euharlee Covered Bridge , also known as the Euharlee Creek Covered Bridge or rarely the Lowry Bridge , is a wooden covered bridge crossing Euharlee Creek in Euharlee , Georgia , a small town west of Cartersville . The bridge was built after the raging creek swept away an old bridge on the property of Daniel Lowry. The collapse of the bridge killed one man. A new bridge was built using some materials provided by Lowry. [1] This bridge recalls the days of buggies and "horseless carriages." Known as a landmark on Georgia's Covered Bridge Trail , the Euharlee Covered Bridge was built in 1886 by Washington W.
