With the ramp up pressure kids experience at school and the need to sign up to too many extracurricular activities, it’s no surprise how the number of teens employed have been declining over the past decades.
There are many benefits (and risks) of adolescent employment. The decision to allow your teen to have an after school job should be a well thought-out family decision based on how well they can manage responsibilities, time management and money.


But if your teen is ready to take the plunge the first thing they need to figure out is how to build a resume that stands out even if they don’t have any work experience.

Georgia SPCA Rescue Squad Day Camp For Kids




Looking for something fun and educational for your child this summer?  Join the staff of the Georgia SPCA for a hands-on look at how the shelter operates!

Children who loves animals have proven to be more compassionate and happy individuals. Georgia SPCA understands that fostering the love for animals in children, is the best way to teach them empathy, and discourage animal cruelty and violent behaviors. They are unveiling a brand new educational summer camp for kids at the Georgia SPCA adoption center that you don't want to miss.


Children will learn about:

* The humane treatment of animals
* Animal safety and handling
* The importance of spay/neuter
* Many more fun and interactive lessons

Each day the kids will enjoy lots of interaction with our adoptable animals, games, crafts, and guest speakers! Each camper receives a camp T-shirt. 

 


WHO: Children ages 7-11               

WHEN:  Monday, July 21 - Friday, July 25 - 9am to 1pm

WHERE: Georgia SPCA adoption center

PRICE:  $125 for one week.  You can registerand pay online

Repeats every day 5 times .
Monday, July 21, 2014 - 9:00am to 1:00pm
Tuesday, July 22, 2014 - 9:00am to 1:00pm
Wednesday, July 23, 2014 - 9:00am to 1:00pm
Thursday, July 24, 2014 - 9:00am to 1:00pm
Friday, July 25, 2014 - 9:00am to 1:00pm



The fee include all materials, activities and lessons.
 Due to allergy restrictions, lunch will not be provided. Please bring a sack lunch.
